How it works
You type or talk. Atlas replies. The mess turns into a plan.
Dump
Open the app, hit Atlas, and just start talking. Tap a starter prompt if you're stuck. Voice works too — tap the mic.
Atlas sorts
Atlas replies in short chat bubbles — one observation, one nudge, one 10-to-30-second action. Tap the + TASK or + NOTE chips to capture as you go.
End & map
When you're done, tap End & map. You get a short summary of the session and one clear next move. That's it.
What you might say
These starter prompts live right under the chat input. Tap one and Atlas picks it up from there.
Meet Atlas
Atlas helps sort the mess.
Atlas is the AI sidekick built into ProjectAdulting. Playful, never shamey. The voice of a friend who's been through it and knows what to ask. A practical coach for the stuff you are avoiding.
Every reply follows the same shape: a short observation, a nudge in the right direction, and one micro-action you can finish in 10 to 30 seconds. No paragraphs. No lectures. No "have you tried meditating."
Nothing gets lost
The chips Atlas offers route into real surfaces. Captures stay yours.
Inbox
Anything Atlas tags as a task lands in your Inbox tab. Knock them out one at a time, or come back later.
Notes
Things you want to remember — a rate, a date, an idea — get filed as notes. Tagged, searchable, attached to the session you dumped them in.
End & map
You don't have to organize what you dumped. Tap End & map and Atlas does the synthesis.
You're avoiding a call to your landlord about the leak, and that's been bleeding into how you feel about the rest of the apartment. Underneath it: you're not sure what to actually ask.
10–30s. Open Notes, write the call in three sentences max. Future-you can decide whether to send.
When you want to go deeper
134 short lessons, surfaced when you'd actually want one.
Money, home, health, routines, life admin. Atlas offers a 3-minute lesson when something in your dump matches a topic that has one. You can also browse the whole catalog from your Profile. No streaks. No homework.
Frequently asked questions
- What is ProjectAdulting?
- A brain-dump app for adults. You type or talk through what's on your mind, and Atlas — the AI sidekick — replies in short chat bubbles, captures tasks and notes for you, and synthesizes the session into one clear next move.
- Who is Atlas?
- The AI life coach built into ProjectAdulting. Playful, never shamey. Each reply is a short observation, a nudge in the right direction, and one micro-action you can do in 10 to 30 seconds. Yes — a practical coach for the stuff you are avoiding.
- How is this different from a notes or to-do app?
- Notes and to-do apps assume you already know what you're doing. They ask you to organize first, dump second. ProjectAdulting flips it — dump first, Atlas sorts second. Tasks land in your Inbox, notes in Notes, the rest gets pulled into a session map with one next move.
- Can I use voice?
- Yes. Tap the mic and talk. Atlas transcribes and replies the same way.
- Are there lessons?
- 134 short ones — money, home, health, routines. They're not the main surface. Atlas offers a 3-minute lesson when your dump touches a topic that has one. You can also browse them from your Profile.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes — 7 days free, then $4.99/month or $34.99/year. Cancel anytime in Settings.
